A broad-leaved tropical plant in the strelitzia or bird-of-paradise shape: long paddle leaves rising from a single gathered base, the silhouette that reads as a banana plant from across a room. It is made in eleven heights from 26.6 in (65 cm) to 55.9 in (142 cm), with leaf counts from eight up to thirty-six, so the same plant can be a modest corner filler or something close to a small tree.
Five of the sizes come in a variegated finish, with yellow marbling running along the leaves instead of plain deep green. Where two sizes share a height and a leaf count, the difference is leaf length, and the option says which.
It ships as foliage only, with no pot, no soil and no base, and the height quoted is the plant itself, measured from the base of the stems. Stand it in a floor vase or a planter you already own; the thirty-six-leaf size is wide as well as tall and wants a container with real weight to it.
Our makers give the material as silk. Nothing needs watering, feeding or pruning; dust it now and then with a soft brush. Keep it out of prolonged direct sun, which fades artificial foliage of every kind, and treat it as an indoor piece.

What do the option names mean?
Color, then height, then leaf count. "Variegated, 35.4 in, 24 leaves" is all three. Green is the plain deep green; variegated has cream and pale-green marbling through the blade. Two options read "37.8 in, 15 leaves" and differ only in leaf length, 11 inches against 11.4; that is our makers' own distinction and we have kept it so the two stay separable.
Does it come with a pot?
No. Every option is a bare plant on a bound stem, made to set into a planter of your own; the baskets in our photographs are not included. Weight the base with pebbles or sand; the 4.5 foot sizes are top-heavy in a light pot.
Can I use it outside?
Our makers list it for indoor use. A covered porch or sheltered balcony is fine. In open weather the silk fades and the leaves work loose.
How do I look after it?
Dust with a soft brush. The leaves arrive folded against the stem; open each one out by hand and give the blade a gentle curve, which is what stops it reading as flat plastic.
How long will delivery take?
Each piece ships tracked, direct from our makers' workshop, and delivery is free across the US. What if it arrives damaged or isn't what I ordered?
We put it right, and you don't send anything back. Tell us within 14 days of delivery through our contact page, with your order number and a couple of photos, and choose between a replacement sent at our cost or a full refund. If the damage is minor and you'd rather keep the piece (a few crumpled leaves, a scuffed pot), we can offer a partial refund instead; that's your choice, never ours. And if the tracking shows your order hasn't arrived within 30 days of dispatch, the same applies: replacement or full refund.
Can I return it if I change my mind?
No. We don't offer change-of-mind returns, and we'd rather say so plainly than bury it. Each piece ships direct from the makers' workshop to your door, and the journey back would cost more than the piece itself. That's why we describe every piece as precisely as the maker lets us, publish the dimensions we have in inches, show the estimated arrival dates before you pay, and answer questions through our contact page before you order. You can cancel for a full refund at any time before dispatch. If you're torn between two options, ask us first and we'll help you choose.
Is there a discount for buying more than one?
Yes, and it applies itself, with no code needed. Mix and match anything in the shop: any two pieces in your cart take 5% off each, three take 10%, and five or more take 15%, whatever the size or design. We place the whole order with the workshop at once, but each piece is boxed on its own, so the boxes can arrive separately, usually within a day or two of each other; we send you every tracking number. For ten or more, ask us for a trade quote through our contact page.
